U.S. Special Government agent and lifetime soldier, Sergeant Ed Miller, is sent on a six month assignment to Bastalayo, an American territory in the southwest part of the Carribean. Recently the United States has been expanding its deep offshore oil drilling, off the coast of the small country, Saint Vincent and the Grenedines. Ed was to guard the life of the countries Ambassador, Sydney Ballantyne and his two daughters. The U.S. gov't suspected they were targets of assassination, because of the oil right negotiations, which the ambassador was the chief negotiator. After several dangerous assignments in the middle east, Sergeant Miller looked for this job to be a breeze, but instead he would find himself, his comrade in arms Marrio Sanchez, and his newly assigned team of soldiers in the middle of murder, jealousy, conspiracy, espionage, and a barrage of deadly attacks.
